Some of these songs are just so... beautiful. Gawd, I love Thom's voice. And the instrumentation! Sheesh... 'Videotape' sounds better than the Basement version, especially with that raw, Aphex Twin-esque drumbeat added to it. It's the most perfect album closer ever.
'Reckoner' is probably the biggest surprise track of the whole album: it has nothing to do with the old 'Reckoner' song they played live from time to time, it's an entirely new tune and it sounds like something sung in an atheist church. No kidding. It sounds like a godless heaven. I love it.
