the witcher OST =) it's really beautiful
That CD alone was worth the extra cost for the collector's edition, in my eyes.

yup :) but some tracks are not included there. I've just put all the tracks from gamedir/data/music (without subdirectories) to my mediaplayer and here it goes :)

Bumblefoot - UncoOl ( French release )

I just love Ron Thal...plus he is one of the nicest and down to earth person I've ever met.

Vena Amori - The Lady Huskies Are One Man Short

I honestly can't believe I shelled out $1.19 for this album. It was a bargain CD on sale at my work, and morbid curiosity bubbled up within me as from a broken septic tank upon reading "more brutal than My Chemical Romance" on their press sticker.

I should elucidate: the curiosity wasn't as to what "more brutal than My Chemical Romance" would sound like, but as to what kind of band would think to use that as a selling point. I don't have anything against MCR, but taken against the grand spectrum, they're about as brutal as a dental cleansing.

I'll definitely give Godflesh a look, though.

Oh, and Tracy Chapman - The Promise (so as not to <s>meta</s>spam up the thread.)

Her Words Kill - Love on the Catwalk

Underated band that broke up.
My Chemical Romance and Tokio Hotel lovers should start to hear the real thing as this.

The music has 2 different rhythms. The first one is kind of slow and relaxing. Second one stars at 4.10min and gets screamo until ~5.10

Also worth hearing:

Relaxing and melancolic.

Grim Fandango: Big Band, Bebop and Bones.

Best album name evar. And best game soundtrack evar.

I prefer music designed to make you feel good, to make you groove. That melancoly stuff makes me want to type in caps lock.

Guess it's a different kind of catharsis. :?
