If you say Brian Eno, this is the first thing I think of:

Amazing album

Currently listening to Godspeed You! Black Emperor. At first I was wary of it being nearly all instrumental, but its really fucking epic and chill, and thats only their first album

Which is weird, seeing as I don't remember ever hearing it before...

Check out Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra and Tra-La-La Band [with Choir] ( :D ) if you dig GY!BEs "apocalyptical" tunes, it was Efrim Menuks Sideproject after they split up with GY!BE (now they're reformed though)

"He Has Left Us Alone but Shafts of Light Sometimes Grace the Corner of Our Rooms..." is one of the most depressing, fucked up albums ever created by mankind and therefore I love it. ;) Really not music for ye' olde hot summer or something, but it's good.

"Horses in the Sky" is their best imo, Mountains made of Steam on it is amazing.

^ That's a good one.

Mr. Aynesworth might like this :)
Is it just me or does it sound exactly like Death In June?
Well, I like Death In June, so I can get behind that stuff, too.
So, I'm currently listening to this, too :D

True, it's heavily influenced by it, he has some pretty original stuff too though.

Black Sabbath got their Bandname from this.

Craven a-go choke puppy;
Craven a-go choke puppy now;
Craven a-go choke puppy.

This song is about greed, utilising an old Jamaican proverb about the 'craving' puppy that eats so much it chokes. Now could a message as sombre as that one be expressed in a more relaxed rhythm? I think not!
