I agree here - the images need to be simplistic, and B/W. For Mr. Black Dude there was a need to avoid the horrible black and white minstrel look, thats why there is some skin tone in his face. For the girl the hair and body shape should be enough - (but her hair should be a pony tail down her back...just saying).

Well, you guys probably have a point with the black & white (sketch line-drawing) theme - which is why at first I thought having a few lines of texture running the length of the hair might signify the color (and a few freckles might look good too) - but the whole point of the character is the hair *color*, no? So ... it would seem okay with me in theory. But if I saw it in context with more of the other vault boy cards, it would probably look odd. Dunno. Will have to see it in context.

The freckles on her face look nasty - smallpox or something...which ironically suits the nature of the Wastelands, but in all seriousness she doesn't need freckles IMO.
The shape of her hair is better...
