The Shield and Sons of Anarchy and other FX programs

No he's not.

I didn't even know what the hell he was talking about until I clicked the box.

Then I laughed because that is such a stupid ending.

"The Shield" is something I consider to be pretty good for a one time watch, but compared to greatness of "The Wire", "The Shield" just feels like another cheesy TV show. I still enjoyed it, but it didn't bring me nearly as much pleasure as "The Sopranos" , "The Wire" and "Deadwood". It doesn't really have any rewatch value, this is one of those "what you see first time is what you'll ever get" type of things.. But let's not forget I'm an arrogant elitist when it comes to movies/TV shows.. :)

btw: did the shield get heavy fire from some anti-racism societies? since there are majorly mexican/black people doing the crimes, and they are depicted in a kinda stereotyped way, and in the usa, everybody seems to whine about such things. (who am i to talk - im german~~ ). otoh, i very much belive that stereotypes are true.

Everything feels like "just another TV show" when you compare it to The Wire.

I just started watching Sons Of Anarchy.... and i have to say... i'm in the wrong line of work... My talents would be much better spent in an american biker gang... plus, i'd be getting laid more often.

most sitcoms are shitty, here are some good ones:
it's always sunny in philadelphia (which is an fx program)

I approve of that message. Always sunny is the shit! They have most episodes up on hulu.com I suggest people check it out.
