Hello all,
I just saw an article about this game as I was surfing around. Frogwares games, the makers of several Sherlock Holmes games are working on an open world investigation game based on the works of H.P.Lovecraft:

Not so long ago there was a discussion in the Fallout 4 thread about the Lovecraft influences Bethesda put in Fallout and why there are not more full Lovecraft inspired games around. (of course not made by Bethesda)
I myself suggested that fans would probably love an RPG based on the Cthulhu mythos, rather than just having inspired material being sneaked into games (not even as Easter Eggs) into games/settings that have nothing to do with the Mythos.
Well this might not be a full RPG but it is definitely a lot more that fans have gotten regarding computer games in the last few years.
Only other games I can recall are "call of cthulhu dark corners of the earth", and "call of cthulhu the wasted land" (I haven't actually finished that one yet)
But I don't know how well Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games were received. If adventure gamers did not like those very much because of gameplay or other reasons, this might not bode that well for Lovecraft fans.
I hope this is of interest to people.
