The squat And NCR

Has anyone been able to get NCR to help the Squat if so how have you done it? I have the NCR computer parts, but have not killed the raiders. When I talk to tandi I do not get the option of telling her that the Squat will join NCR. Am I missing something or do I need a higher number on my speech (currently 100%). Thanks for any help.

YOU HAVE TO GO KILL THE RAIDERS. THE FIRST TWO LEVELS ARE NOT TOO HARD, BUT THE THIRD LEVEL KILLED OFF A LOT OF GOOD CHARACTERS----GO PREPARED!
