Is this what they called Turgor in the US? There's been a bit of hype before the game came out, but then it sort of died down. I hear that the biggest issue was the repetitiveness of the whole color-collecting routine.
I know it's a completely different type of an adventure game, but I liked Sublustrum (aka Outcry) a lot more.
It's the same game.
Turgor, Tension, The Void are all the same game.
Now that I have it, I can only recommend it.
It's true that the whole collecting color aspect can be tedious but once you start growing it ( after one hour of gameplay ), things get a bit more interesting.
One thing that I really like is that it doesn't guide you and reveal you everything you need to know during a lame tutorial. It teaches you the basics and then lets you try and experiment even if that means failing miserably. Even better than this, some of the characters deliberately misguide you in the use of color.
Indeed, each color has a precise effect on the game universe and until you are able to grow other colors, or if you simply don't care and use any color that you have, the game universe has changed and "Brothers" react completely differently to your presence.
I love the fact that the game is really misleading on why you are here, on the purpose of every creature in the Void, on how to do things right.
Other than this, the game has an awesome atmosphere. Really eerie but beautiful at the same time. Kinda in between Silent Hill and Alice in Wonderland...with cancer.
I really like it but it's one of those games that is more of an experience than a real game. It's NOT really entertaining, it's more intriguing and fascinating and that's why it's probably better to read a lot about it and to watch videos before you buy it because it might let you down after only 5 minutes if it's not for you.
