Things you would have liked to have seen in Fallout 4

Except they flat out say when you do radiant quests.

"I'm the leader, shouldn't I be giving the orders?"

"You are, we're just bringing them to you. You get a cut of course."

Hang on, so they bring the orders you haven't made yet to you and then pay you for doing the jobs they should be doing in the first place?

How do you think criminal syndicates work?

The underbosses take you ideas and you approve them/get involved for money.

Them giving a boss money is paying tribute (at least in the Mafia), not paying the boss to go out and commit robbery/murder/insertdeviouscrimehere. The boss of any organization, criminal or not, runs the organization. They don't go off doing all the jobs themselves.

Yes, but you need to prove yourself in order to get everyone on that. After all, you came in from nowhere.

Sole Survivor plops off the train, kills the former Overboss and is instantly crowned the new Overboss. It's a bit silly to make someone (a complete stranger at that) your new boss and then make them prove themselves by making them do your own job.

You don't think that's a tad daft?

Really the raiders should try to dismiss you if you try to join, but you insist on joining them and when you do you work your way up, THEN kill the current Overboss.

EDIT: Fixed some wording.

As much as I like your writing CT Phipps I'm going to say that you should stop trying to convey your message about whatever you're trying to defend.

Wait, can you even kill the higher class raider dudes in Nuka World? The main NPC's or whatever?

I think it's for a quest but yeah I'm sure you can kill the other raider bosses but they are all have super high hp which kind of makes them all bullet sponges.

Edit: Had to fix some wording.

Are they Legendary too?

*Shivers*

What I would have loved to have seen, is no fucking legendary enemies...

NV did a great job that there's literally a handful in the game, with some having unique looks (deathclaw and bloat fly are quite interesting looking), and they don't come back, they're 'legends', absolute outliers of their species.

Fallout 4 made 'legendary' into 'elite mook'... ;(

Still pissed they made an entire DLC which basically revolves around 'being a bandit', and no matter what you do, you have absolutely no control over anyone...

It would have been cool if at the beginning of the game there was a kind of choice that could basically decide if you were going to be a good guy with the minutemen or be an evil character and side with the bandits and it would have a sort of storyline with that bandit faction.

They should have had a faction in direct opposition of The Minutemen. Instead of joining up with Preston you do the opposite and kill him and the others right off the bat.

That's not fair! Everyone would pick that option to kill Gravy!

Besides the usual things like an actual roleplaying game with C&C. But, for all the talk of "skyrim with guns" I would have liked to duel wield melee and unarmed weapons. I also would have liked to send my companions to Home Plate in Diamond City. The ability to make psychotats in the vanilla game. The Instutue to give you a synth spouse instead. The ability to spare and even recruit Kellogg. Or if you kill Kellogg you could take his cyborg enhancements. The list goes on.

Bethesda made a bad decision of trying to appeal to every demographic they can by adding different things each demographic likes (Minecraft, Sims, Mass Effect, COD, ect.) into the game. This just makes Fallout 4 to be a huge mess of a game trying to be everything for everyone.
