Thought You Died maxed at +90

First time out of the vault
So I've been grinding alone to get karma and the effect Thought You Died (Pip-Boy > Stats > Status) was going up at a somewhat slow steady rate, well it's been at HP +90 for some time now. Well I got sufficiently worried that I cheated to get a 1000 karma and it remained the same, I then tried another time with the same result. I looked at the bugs listing and saw nothing about not being able to reach +100; is there such a bug? Am I doing something wrong? Is my save corrupted (which if it wasn't could get me to +100) ?

If I remember correctly. The perk gives the HP bonus depending on how much karma you have when you pick the perk. So if you have 900 karma when you hit level 50 and pick the perk, you will only get 90 HP permanently.

The perk description is misleading.
 
Oh no! Now I have to find a cheat to set it to +100. I used to have slight skills at modifying things for Oblivion (TES IV), which I think FNV engine shares a decent portion of, and I assume FO3 would too, but alas I forgot. Anyone can help?

Update 1:
Perhaps is there a way to look at all the numbers applied to myself and find out which is 90 then modify that command? ie: player.getNumbers which would include thoughtYouDied 90 so I'd do player.modav thoughtYouDied 10.

I bet there's a command to just add 10 hp, or any other amount for that amount.

You could try removing the perk, getting 1000 karma, and adding it back, but I don't know if removing it will properly set your hp back to pre-perk values.
