Tim Cain (indeed) working at NC Soft ?

Hi,

since I only found rumors that Tim Cain is now working at NC Soft and never found a confirmation about this I looked around the internet by myself. So, out of my overwhelming curiosity, I browsed through the Tabula Rase Homepage of NC Soft and found their Halloween 2006 picture - page. And one of the guys reminded me very much of T.C. - So I compared it to an old picture of him I found on Mobygames and .. well .. I´m almost sure he is it. At the end of this post you´ll find both links I refer to. I would be thankful for your opinions about it. If he´s really part of the TR - team I should take a closer look at this game.. although I dislike MMORPGs pretty much.

I'm not sure what you mean by "confirmation," a number of us are still in personal contact with Tim Cain and thus know it, but it's always been a bit of a a half-public secret since Tim doesn't want the publicity surrounding his job this time around.

Bethesda lead programmer MSFD once confirmed it on the Bethesda forums, since then it's been a public secret.

So yes, he's working at NCSoft, Boyarsky is at Blizzard, Anderson is pretty happily away from the gaming industry. None of these are really unknowns.
 
Though I don't believe that is him in the Black Adder costume. Look at the details, such as the nose or eyebrows.

Where is Tim Cain

Hey, I'm a hardcore gamer; and most games today are pretty stupid. I've been playing Battlefield2 for about a year, and warcraft ever since it came out. I recently beat icewindale 2 like one year ago. I played vampire bloodlines and I just cant get enough of Tim Cain's game. I wont even talk about fallout here because I believe Tim Cain was also good at making other games. Anyways, I'm getting sick of these asshole publishers and their gimmicks of NEXT GEN GRAPHICS BLA BLA BLA. I don't care about graphics at all, all the games out today have proved to be utter shit and that graphics don't make games better. I would love to know if anyone knows of any future to come out Tim Cain video games. If they made icewindale with the same view and graphics, I'd buy it and play it for years. I saw screenshots on here of some Post Apoc game Troika was working on. Too bad that aren't a company anymore. So where is Tim Cain, and how long do I have to wait for a good game to come out?

Yes I know Tim Cain didn't make icewindale, I'm just stating what I like.
