Agreed on that.But CS wasn't so popular because it was just a good game,It's exacly what happened with the Halo game for Xbox.Hell,Halo didn't offer anything new or impressive to us that had followed the Fps history froms it's start and having spent endless hours with games like Doom,Quake,Unreal and a couple hundreds other equal good fps.
But to those xbox morons,it was the first time they saw what an fps looked like so they thought it was a big deal.And then more Xbox morrons saw the others that masturbated over their xbox,thought it must be awsome since so many people played it and the magazings were wetting their pants from joy,so they followed.
Nowdays,everytime i go to a net cafe,i have a 9 year old gupsy kid sitting next to me screaming "I KEELED You LoiLZ!!1".CS was barely a good game,It's just that people go to people.The more ignorant they are,the better.

I don't enjoy insulting.I am angry at people that are completely ignorant and completely unable to think for themselves.Sorry but the philosophy of "hey,the www/uberGamingReviews.com says this game is awsome so i'll buy 3 copies of it" or "Everybody plays this game so I'll do too,to look cool" doesn't work for me.
 
Actually, I have to cut the "pro-gamers" (or whatever the politically correct term they prefer these days) some slack.

They DO adopt to new competitive multiplayer games like every gormless fucktard out there, but they only care about the competitive aspect and thus they tend to play on minimum graphics quality settings with all the gift wrap and eye candy disabled.

They are the last people demanding flashier graphics or simpler gameplay. Frankly, for singleplayer games they don't even care. Why should they? If there isn't a competitive multiplayer mode, it's not a competition.

I'm only talking about the professionals and semi-professionals, of course. Not those gormless fucktards that only still play Counter-Strike because they hope that some newbie or less skilled player might walk into their line of fire, or because the newer games won't run on their machine and mommy won't buy them a new one anymore ever since she caught them posing in her panties.

The real threat is Joe "i liek rnb" Average-Customer, who mentally whacks off to polygon titties and has to google for a walkthrough or preferably cheatcodes everytime faced with something more complex than an arbitrary jump puzzle or yet another needs-to-be-struck-in-the-right-polygon-to-die end boss.

And he's the majority. He watches FOX News and reads Homosexual Dog Porn Magazine and drinks Dr Peppers and probably even votes Republicans.

He's the enemy.

Now find him. And commit a genocide.
