Hello,

I've played Fallout 3 a while ago and I finally got the original Fallout. My problem is, I ignored the Deathclaws in the other sector and went to the Gun Runners. But if I go back again, they attack me immediately. I have a Power Armor and I tried it with a rocket launcher, flamer, plasma rifle etc. but I always died. Help please :)
 
Just run? Especially with power armor you should survive just taking every turn to run away from the Deathclaws, across the map and out of it. You don't have to beat them to escape.
 
Okay, I made it. I escaped into the basement and when I went out, they weren't there anymore. My companion didn't make it though.
 
That sucks. But to be honest, companions in Fallout aren't built to survive until the end. You're going to lose them sooner or later, unless you make a dedicated effort to keeping them alive.
 
In Fo1 there's also the exploicheat of entering combat mode as soon as you arrive on the map, moving, leaving combat mode with at least 1 AP remaining and holding A to immediately enter combat mode again, etc.
 
Try a melee character next time, Disintegrator. Grab ripper, suck up some psycho and slice through them like a hot knife through butter! :twisted:
