Two Worlds

Mildly Dipped
My best friend gave me a copy Two Worlds. It's like oblivion but on a much more massive scale. The main character has to find a relic to save his sister. I won't say much more than that. I really like the game but I had to stop in the middle of it due to the fact I broke my right hand and the game requires usage of Mouse and WASD keys. This is one of those long time eating games. I highly recomend it to every one who has a DVD rom.

Those who have tried it please post your opinions!

I played it, but it seemed cheesy to me. Maybe I'll give it another try some other time.

Don't play this fucking game. Oblivion rip-off that doesn't even try to improve on Oblivions faults. Thats just my opinion though.

lol, don't listen to this game noob.

he obviously doesn't know that Oblivion was RPG of the Year when it was released. why would you want to improve what's already best?

i found oblivion was overrated, poop. its not like there was any competition in 2006 in terms of rpg's.

Hahahahaha. Either my sarcasm detector is broken or your fucking serious. Oblivion was good for two weeks. Then I wished Morrowind had better load times so I could play it again.

I think your sarcasm detectors are horribly broken. pls fix

ony kotor 2 was half decent in that time and it was just average. i found kotor 2 better then oblivion though.
Read this get a whole new perspective on KotOR2. It's pretty long and starts a bit slow (just like the game), but just read a chapter or two a day to make it easier to swallow. Also it's on SomethingAwful and therefore full of annoying ads and stuff, but it's worth it.

On topic, I've never played Two Worlds, nor seen anything of it. What's so bad/good about it? I need some specifics here.

I thought this game was buggy to hell and back, which caused it to be unbearable after 20 minutes. Or maybe it was just the Xbox 360 version.

Either way, it looked interesting, but not enough to cause me to buy it.

quite so, my good man.

but they're relatively new here, so i suppose we can forgive them for this, though it shouldve been blatantly obvious.

Sorry about that. Had to get a tune-up.

Two Worlds dumbed down Oblivions already simple combat system for starts. Added practically nothing to differentiate it from Oblivion. Didn't get rid of Oblivions faults. Had more bugs too. Game sucked.

Ouch.

Anyone willing to speak in favor of the game?
How about story? Sucky to mediocre or worthwhile?

Just forget about it and buy The Witcher. This kind of games are too boring to play, like a badly done MMORPG

Not everyone liked The Witcher. It is a good game IMO but many people also believed it was boring .so it is best if he would give the demo a try first

I rented it and liked it, actually. It was cheesy to the point of being good. The dialog always cracks me up and is very addicting. I don't know if it's that cheesy intentionally but I love it.

There are also some Diablo elements like lots and lots of loot. I played it for a few hours and new items never stopped appearing. Even the same items can be used to make more powerful ones. So the whole loot system is way better than in Oblivion, it's actually worth exploring caves for items in TW.

There are some obvious bugs and glitches but I didn't think any of them broke the game or even bothered me. They kind of added to its cheese flavor.

The quests are nothing special but not worse than anything in Oblivion and I did want to find out where the main quest-line was going.

It's not exactly worth 50 bucks but I'm definitely getting it when the price goes down further.
