Gamefaq probably decided that they needed to have more visitors, so they've also started a UBER GAME OF ALL AGES contest or how they call it: Spring 2004: "Best. Game. Ever.". Well, I'm pretty sure voting is open to everyone. They just want you to sign up to nominate (which has already been done) and to make an entry into who you think will win each bracket. Fallout 2 is up against LoZ: OoT in it's first round so I doubt it will get very far. :(
 
Gaming sites are whores. Good only for reading an occassional PC review (provided you manage to find one among all that console bullshit).

Well, as long as we are all clear on the ""quid pro quo"", then it's all an on line love fest, isn't it. Structured activity between consenting life forms.

The Round Robin circuit does offer a taunting ""thrill of victory and the ... agony ... of competition"" ; that heady vapour which sells beer and SUV's in the American market .

The demographics may be stacked against PC level RPG's, the "w-ee-ner" will be whatever is hip and mod at the micron moment.

It's a beauty contest that is as transitory and predatory in it's satisfactions as "Queen For A Day", or "The Gong Show".

Tickles my ulterior interests, regardless the venue.

Bah, why not Fallout 1?

Getting sick of people who, when talking about Fallout, only mention FO2.

Not only is FO2 inferior, it is a SEQUEL. You'd think credit would be given to the origin of the series and not it's half-assed follow-up, eh?
