unoffcial fallout 3

Neat story. The pursuer makes a nice plot gimmick, rather than just find the doo-dad.

Why don't all the modders get together and decide tp make F3 rather than individual mods...

Egos. 8) Most people would say that their particular mod is just as good as the next guy's, if not better. Plus, most of the major projects out there already have a lot of work done.

Well, isn't better to be a part of fallout 3, than your own individual mod? But anyway, this isn't a realistic idea....

There's not been much on Metalheart recently (Or has there?).

Looks like they've missed that.
Does anybody know what's happened to it? Is it just standard delays, or something more?

I've been trying to get ahold of Alex from Akella regarding Metalheart, so far no luck.. Dunno what's going on over there..

Hmm, that's not good. Perhaps one of our Russian members could try contacting them in Russian? They might have more luck.

I don't have any links or something to that effect, but i remember reading it was already released in germany and on a single random european country (austria, or some soviet block country or the other), because that's where the publisher they had worked. They didn't seem to be able to get any deals for the rest of the world, including the US / UK.

Not available via Amazon DE, so IF they ever sold it here, they carefully avoided the bigger stores.

There are also no resellers on eBay DE.

I find that doubtful. Neither the Akella nor the Metalheart website (the main page can only be reached from the splash screen by looking up the link in the source code :eyebrow:) mention anything.

hey, Dutch Ghost, nice story there. Though the robots rebellion idea might be a bit slippery because destroying robots somehow doesn't give so much satisfaction (even if they look like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger) as slaying various living entities (yay!! bloody mess!). But all the contracted mercs and raiders that You mentioned seem to deal with it.

It would also be cool to have the possibility of choosing to be an evil heartless scum and not to lose all the fun because of that (as it was in F2 where a do-gooder gets a lot more opportunities, experience and so on). Maybe even play on the "Combine's" side and be a contracted mercenary, vicious raider, blood-suckin mutant, killer cyborg...well, You know what i mean. I think the fact that there are so incredibly many ways to make your way through the game makes it one of a kind. Makes you want to play it over and over.

Also, the experience points system used in Morrowind, that lets you improve your skills by making use of them would be an interesting addition to the one used in old fallouts. It gives a nice "evolving effect" to character creation.

IMO there couldn't be a fallout without the specific sense of humour (the ghoul with a tree on his head is simply one of a kind!). Easter eggs, dialogues, descriptions, situations, people you meet, etc. are just funny in the best way.

Why don't all fallout fans get together and make fallout 3? I mean we have lots of modders, we have a fallout like engine and making the storyline shouldn't be a problem!

Ok we might not get that f3 in 3D like screens, but hey I fine with the original fallout graphics...

So is this possible or am I dreaming?

EDIT

El Chupacabra, FUCK MORROWIND.

Fallout isnt Morrowind. Keep it like Fallout rather than trying to 'maek it like that kewel game'

El Chupacabra, FUCK MORROWIND.

Hey, i totally agree. I don't even like the game, I find it boring and I felt like a retard every time I played it. I just wanted to make a remarque on the experience system.

Anyway, two thumbs up on the Fanout Project. May the force be with You! Hell, i would even buy the game :)
