Van Buren Tech Demo d3d?

I Know I Have Sen This Question Somewhere, And I Have Hunted The Search Feature Fro An Hour.

When I Try To Play The Demo I Get This Error Message:
"Failed To Create D3D Device (8876086c)"

How Do I Fix This?

I think you misused search as it has in fact been addressed.

It's not actually a problem of the game, but in your computer. Most likely your videocard drivers need an update, possibly you have an onboard videocard that can't handle it, possible you need to "fiddle about" a bit with the directshow option in the f3.ini.

EDIT: I Found The Thread, And Now I Get The Error Message "Cannot Find Requested Mode".

Near As I Can Tell, This Question Was Asked, But Not Answered.

yup, was me that started the other thread, and still got no solution. I think that if someone who has it could lend us the f3.ini, i think i could get something done. The thing is, I can´t find the f3.ini, and i have been told that the ini is located in the folder created under my documents,,, oh well, ,, will have to wait...
