Vault0's admin is long AWOL and the forum is an old, vulnerable version of PHPBB, so it's been hacked to shit four or maybe five times this year, gradually destroying everything. There are now plans to get the place back into shape a bit and restore a very old database backup.
Same thing happened to the Metalheart forum. Strange.

metal heart has a new forum run by numlock software
they seem very eager to listen to the criticisms and respond regularly. in fact they have already released two small unoffical international pathces in the last week.
(side note:
i have the game, while the execution and scripting of the story is fairly lacking, the engine is solid (except for a few design anomalies), game does not crash, and, at least, the devs respond to issues and don't seem to take anything personally.
(i will have a full report on the game later on, when i get further into it) )

Anyway, thst can be explained by the fact all the forums were wiped, but the memberlist etc stayed intact. So when someone got up the two sub-fora we have now, the number of posts made in the forums and the number of posts made by individual members didn't quite add up.
But that was all a lie. In fact, I just sit there in my own Sekret forum and write messages to myself. The truth is out.
