What would happen if you suddenly realized that you’re stuck in a closed environment with 999 other dudes and one chick, what if you are the chick? Do you think Vault-Tec picked a good looking chick such as a super model or maybe a pornstar or was it some some butch bitch you would have to be really drunk to even think about fucking. Was she the girl next door, a lesbian or sex addict? What if they made her the overseer and she had two machine guns attached to her chair.

How do you think this scenario will work out and what is the purpose of such a cruel experiment?
 
I was hoping for something more work safe. Besides I'm not a member and everyone keeps telling me to "GTFO" whatever that means. If someone wants to transfer this to The Order thats fine by me.
 
Okay then. You can speculate this to death, of course, but my best guess is she would have been Overseer, just to see how 999 men would have reacted to that. And my best guess is the men would have soon revolted and seized power.
Same for Vault 69: the only man would have been Overseer and eventually been overthrown by his 999 female minions. Seems most likely.
Sexually it would have been hell for that woman. Homosexuality abound as well, most probably.
Babies? Perhaps, but almost certainly no. I reckon she would have gone crazy before ever getting to that. Rape? Sure. Suicide? I guess.

Putting a member of one sex together with 999 members of the opposite sex in a closed environment is a sick joke, to say the least. I would not want to be the man in Vault 69. I would run outside immediately and enjoy the blastwave. To me that seems to be the less painful solution.
 
I was thing about Vault 69, the other day and IF handled right they could have survired.

With help from an AutoDoc and if they could of select what sex they wanted to children to be...

Would take many years, but yeah if order could be ketp, possible.

Vault 68 on ther other hand would be screwed.

Vault 69 would probally be handled something like a lottery. All 999 females would have one day with the male depending on a random drawing. Now You can trade your day for favors or a later date. A whole economy would be based on your Day with the male. Now The lucky girl would get the male for 12 hours then he would have the rest of the day off. He would then be free to moonlight with someone else for the right price/favor.


Of course between times Mr Handy would be really busy, Lesbianism would be rampant, If it was programed for it the Autodoc would be doing a few sex changes. Lots of adult toys would be made. The autodoc would also have to increase the dudes stamina, endurance.
 
How screwed would they be if the guy shot blanks? Or didn't prefer the company of ladyfolk? Or if he just kind of lost the will to live?

Accidents? Congenital defects? Cabin-crazed feminist murderers? I can't speak for the solidity of VaultTec's selection methods, but to the outside observer, there are any number of reasons that Vaut 69 (and, of course, it's male counterpart) would've been a horrible, horrible idea.

From a storyline perspective, I almost think it would be better if V69's male ended up buying the farm somehow and the girls were forced to blow the hatch and form a community of Amazonians. Just try and tell me, for better or for worse, that a tribe of Amazonian raiders wouldn't have fit the Fallout 2 setting.
 
Ever read "Y: The Last Man"... provides a good look at how women would cope with no men around.
 
Vault 69 would be worse off in the long run, due to the lack of genetic diversity: 1999 X chromosomes, but only one Y. Vault 68 is much more balanced, with 1001 Xs and 999 Ys. The women would have to pump out (mostly female) babies for the first 50 years or so, but the population would stabilize before it drops below about 300. Not a great situation, but the vault would survive.
 
I always wondered how they dealt with overpopulation, now you've got a bunch of inbred retards humping each other incessantly, how do you keep it all spaced out?
 
My vault is in the backyard is ready for the apocolypse. I have my own version of Vault 69 although it is me and three well shaven chicks.

P.S. Fallout 3 should address the 69 issue once and for all. I walways wondered if the women in Vault 69 were shaved.
 
i feel sorry for the guy in Vault 68, i mean they say women living in close enviroments tend to all have their periods at roughly the same time, i mean that would be Hell on earth for the poor man. no where to run and no where to hide. damn let us pray this never happens
