Well, there is black bald dude, black long hair dude.... :p
Pixies, did I actually ever sent you the black dude combat armor made by brother_soifran, along with partially finished vault suit and metal armour animations?
If you still need them, of course.
I keep everything - , but I won't touch Mr. Black Dude until I finish with my RP and MR stuff. And I don't think we need a black baldie, or a black long hair, otherwise we might as well have a black miget...
If you need help with the black dude mod, let me know, since it would be pointless for us to do literally the same thing twice
(though I'm making a Vic mod out of it but it barely matters, the only difference will be a custom power armor, helmetless.)
As I said to Rain man, the CA for the black dude is already done
That's one small bit done, at least! :p
Oh coolio, from where can I download it?
/Edit: Funny, I've asked exactly the same thing in the thread. Question still remains, of course.
I don't know But for sure Soifran will answer PMs.
I'm eager to see a new male hero of course, but just like Lexx I'm also eager to see a brand new female set. More tedious work, yay
The black dude combat armour made by brother_soifran: HERE
Partially finished black dude vault suit by me, myself and I: HERE
We didn't manage to do any more work. Any further help appreciated. For achieving the exact skin nuance, send me a PM and I'll explain the method (to keep the work consistent).
These are awesome, LionXavier. Just wanted to let you know that I used your Mohawk Vault Girl to create an avatar. Well, I tweaked it a bit.
You forgot to add the nipples to her boobers.
I didn't want to overdo it. Well, I tried at first but I'm not good enough with pixel art to do that. It looked like crap.
Long time lurker but first time poster I've taken the liberty of renaming all of the .frm's RainMan provided and used the description and pipboy art provided by LionXavier and .Pixote to make a ready to go package for the RP. Everything should work no problem, including the death and knock down animations. Hopefully this will make it into the next version of the RP.
Edit: Here's the link to the package.
To install, extract the zip and copy and paste the HFR00S01 folder into your Fallout2/Appearance folder.
I think it will be better to message Killap, I will leave it up to him whether or not it will be included. Though I will say another playable female critter would be good.
That's a good idea. I might post some suggestions in RP thread since Killap does check there too. The filesize may be a concern but I think that was already mentioned by RainMan. The HFR00S01 I have set up weighs in at 234MB.
Also I forgot to mention that to get the LA MKII to work, you need to add hflmk2 and hmlmk2 to critters.lst and edit the item for LA MKII so it points to the hflmk2 and hmlmk2 critters. I think you also need the lmk2 sets made by x'il for that as well.
Does somebody still have the contents from the mediafire links? two of them don't work...
I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this thread again, but what ever became of the blond girl? Were all these frms done? The mediafire link is down...
The FRMs are still available here: http://olympus2207.com/load/interna.../rainman_s_f2_critterpack_heroblonde/5-1-0-19
But I take it from scratch42069's post that they need to be renamed, and some pipboy art chosen for her.
Very nice. Looks like we might get a blond haired female option in the upcoming RP.
Long time lurker, first time poster here. Since scratch42069's link is down, I took it upon myself to rename all of Blonde Girl's .frms, and put them into a RAR file with .Pixote's skilldex art. However, I couldn't find any description text for Blonde Girl, so I might've overlooked it somewhere?
Anyway, all you have to do is unzip the "HFS00R01" folder to Fallout 2/Appearance.
Description text for Blonde Girl appeared in the screen shot in .Pixote.'s post here. Scroll down to the character design view screen shot.
[Edit:] Question for Rain man: How difficult would it be to teach us your method for creating these new character sets? Surely it is something that others of us can help out with?
