Vic sucks...

Talking robo dog, talking animal monster wearing robes, talking computer in robotic body, fat office worker and schoolboy - Fantastic <s>Zoo</s> Five will help you to save post-apoc world from further destruction! Incredible design, true masterpiece!

----------------------------------EDIT

Only talking plant is missing. What about mod, where you can actually recruit a plant NPC? All you need is to use a shovel every time you want to move to another map. Or carry it in pot. Maybe x'il could make a critter with pot and plant inside :wiggle: It's a real shame you can't recruit a talking plant :(

And i could also give it a fire attack like the fire geckos so it'd be more useful in combat! just imagine the possibilities!

would be sweet to give him rifle, smg (two handed style maybe?) animations, and robolegs in a high tech pot controlled by the electric impulses through the roots.

since everyone is voicing their oppinions (sp?) on Vic, i will too.

I always liked Vic as a companion. He has a lot more emotes than Sulik or Cassidy out of combat. He can repair stuff for the early game. He becomes deadly no doubt about it. He tends to just "get killed" as opposed to going off and getting himself killed.

His vanilla game FRMs suck balls. The "New Animations" make it a lot more tolerable. I love his leather jacket with the Skull on the back.

Killer plant could actually work like a normal weapon, all you need is to do a set of animations with a pot and plant inside. Talk with plant, find a pot, next grab it from ground and put into inventory! Imagine carrying this shit in hands into the battle against heavy armoured Enclave soldiers!

I like that three years after releasing this mod, the thread becomes alive.

Hmmm, would this clash with the NPC armour mod from the RP? I much prefer this to the NPC armour mod Vic.

I should have read the actual date of this thread – this is a grave digging exercise, but why not, Vic needs some special love to make him a more exciting character…

I like Vic. It's like having Danny deVito with a shotgun followng you around the wasteland. Or, when he becomes more deadly, a fatter Joe Pesci. 8-)

Also: You DO find a potted plant in the game. Would be nice if it actually did something, considering it homocidieal rage and all...

The Vic-sucks-Mod changes Vic into the Ian-looking leatherjacked guy with blue pants.

Vic is still the same, but with a different look AND now he can't use rifles and so on anymore, because this critter has not the animations that would be needed for using rifles.
So is there a way you could update this Vic mod with the FRMs used in the Long-Haired-Dude, so that the new Vic could use all guns and show armor changes?

This is what i was just about to ask.

Even better, a option that makes Vic the opposide hair of whatever Dude you go with.

Not from me. I don't really have the time and mood to fiddle around again with the files.
