Voice of Sarah Lyons on IMDb

And McDowell is a talended voice actor with good track record, unlike Neeson.

There is a very simple reason to use Neeson, and that is because he was in Star Wars which is sc-fi and geeky kind of like fallout, so by using Neeson they are trying to tap into the star wars nerd market. It was also suggested to use William Shatner but everyone decided that trekies are so nerdy that they are in fact beat up by regular nerds.
Neeson was also in Batman Begins which was well recieved. Shatner is widely accepted to be a bad actor (he's made a career off of mocking himself) and could have been an interesting choice (if done right he could be very amusing) but not one for the supposedly serious Fallout 3. Besides, if you were after the Trekie crowd you'd hit up Leonard Nimoy. Out of curiousity, where did you hear about the Shatner thing, I don't remember that?

 I loled.

Shatner used to be bad in his Trek days, but he's pretty great now in Boston Legal. And as for Trekkies, they did use Patrick Stewart in Oblivion.

Patrick kinda fit with the role of the old emperor in Oblivion.

Shatner won't fit the role, and plus, if he was my dad....I'd probably kill myself.

Shatner turned out to be a very good comic actor in his older days. I wouldn't mind him playing some comic relief character.

I can't believe how much you're simply reaching to find something to hate, and can't even find the smarts to have any consistency about it. I can't believe how much you guys keep whining about it, seriously, who cares? You can just turn off the voice-over effect, it's completely optional. And even if it wasn't JUST GET A LIFE. You're so aggravating!!!!!!111eleventy

Let me show you this graph.

As you can see, expensive voice actors lead to sales, ergo expensive voice actors fit in perfectly with Fallout's core setting.

This post is one of the funniest things I read in a long time. Showing to my co-workers.

Will she be doing the voice of Tandi?

I mean hell they've brought EVERYTHING else back, why not have a 170 year old Tandi as well?

Hmm, they could use a skeleton from Oblivion as the character model.

Oh and she got to the East Coast through the use of a giant cannon, which explains why she is a skeleton and not a talking dog.

I hope the final boss is the original Vault Dweller from Fallout!

I hope so. The first guy was a pussy. Walking away into the wastes? You're packing rocket launchers, plasma rifles, and a giant steel armor that lets you laugh off small arms fire! Take the vault over and rule as an unquestioned dictator!

That's why you play Fallout 1 with bloody mess on, to get the secret ending

I'm going to mod Fallout3 and replace all the Liam Neeson quotes with contextually similar (albeit, much shorter) phrases from his movie "TAKEN".

Hah, that'd be awesome. Nice for a quick laugh.

Nimoy did a great job on Civ, though he wasn't voicing a character. He'd actually be a solid choice.
