Walking, excuse me, Living Dead Mod

I could have vatted the redundant plus one. Uh, I meant, one. ;)

EDIT: OK, I'm fossilised. Time to stop this indeed.

The oldest gravedigger I have ever seen that served a purpose. Well done Pyran.

Why not just make a new thread for the updated repack on your own, instead of keep asking admins to "take over" the first post of old threads?
If it's noteworthy, I'm sure Proletären or others will add it to the news, similar to updates news of many other mods/TCs.

TBH "multiple topics would confuse people" is a rather poor excuse. It's only valid if there are already shittons of update threads of the same mod ("My Mod v1.0", "My Mod v1.1", etc.) on the forums, which isn't the case here. And if people can't even read the version number in different topics, they should go see an ophthalmologist.

I understand your point of view.
I don't see the point in making duplicate themes unless absolutely necessary. It is better to update the existing one, making it more presentable. Exception: the topic does not exist or is abandoned, without the ability to put it in order. There is one drawback in my proposal - the moderator's help is required. But, is improving the theme a bad thing? Is this not the responsibility of moderators? (asking\interested)

There are mods such as: Fallout Wars, Sinister Rain, Modern Guns, etc. - I haven't seen these topics here, which means they can be created.

Maybe that's how things work on some other forums that you're one of the admins, but certainly not on NMA.
It's perfectly fine creating new threads for mod updates/releases (i.e. RP, Megamod, et tu) as long as it's not in a spamming way.

This thread hasn't had new posts for nearly 18 years before you necro-bump it. If no new posts for ~18 years is not counted as abandoned, I have no idea what's the definition of abandoned by your standard.
The biggest issue to me is you're trying to "take over" old threads, replacing the first post with your "improved theme" while you are NOT the creator of those threads.

I am not the creator of the theme and I am not trying to replace it. I just suggest improving the first post. No more. For me, this is not a problem.
If Megamod has been on the forum for 18 years and is being updated, why make a second topic?
Living Dead is just included in the themes that can be rediscovered.
I'm not trying to impose my own rules... but if in the process of discussion and initiative, it will be possible to make the topic at least a little more convenient. Why not?

Regarding the link - below, I also answered

This is a newspost for the frontpage. It should not be edited.
