Via Wasteland 2's facebook page comes a video interview with inXile CEO Brian Fargo by Gamer Hub. It covers a lot of familiar ground and most of it will be old news to our readers, but you should definitely give the video a view as dotted throughout are glimpses of Wasteland 2 running on the computers of the developers, among other things showing assets like the radio dish and showing a first glimpse at their HUD (at 2:35).

UI looks interesting! The console is eye catching

I'm also very pleased to hear about the third party uploads to unity store and that he is impressed with them.

He looks high.

My guess is:

This just in: crowdfunding is changing the gaming industry. More on that in a moment, but first: did you know the sky is blue? Experts say...

I wouldn't be surprised if that GUI turns out to be fully customizable.

Considering that was one of the first things they talked about and specifically mentioned in their vision doc and interviews, it's indeed not much of a surprise.

Haha, yeah, kidding aside, I've seen another mockup of the HUD and it looked different, some stuff in different places etc. It'll be highly customizable.

I don't see how you guys got the idea of non-costumizable UI from that picture :) (it was taken directly from the video). I have no doubts devs will give us the opportunity to move those blocks around the screen, I just tried to give a clue what those blocks might be.

Not enough polish, bad shaders, not enough grass. 3/10, inXile has incompetent artists.

Seriously? I hope your being sarcastic.
