via Kotaku: http://kotaku.com/wasteland-3-announced-will-have-co-op-1787185091 Screenshots: Looks and sounds great imo. Not sure I like the idea of co-op play or will ever use it, but it's good for those who want that experience.
Oh my god, this made my morning. If they pull off what they're making the multiplayer sound like, this might be one of the coolest RPGs I play in the next few years.
Where are the settlements? No fridges? How am I meant to find children to kidnap? Disliked. Serious question: should I play Wasteland, I've never gotten round to doing them- I have a pretty busy life playing competitive minecraft
I'm not really liking the stuff about the multiplayer nor about the conversation zoom-in, but I will back this. Finally there's something to look forward to again.
Wasteland 2 feels and plays a lot like the classic Fallouts, so the average cRPG unovercomable wall is down for ya. It was a lot of fun, i liked it way more over XCOM
Cool, might get it later. Gives me something to play until Dishonored 2 (and after if it turns out to be a steamy pile of shit)
i welcome any artistic change as long they get the rpg and gameplay right, and the narrative; last game is just mess, its horrible compared to fallout 2. and i'm not even of fans of fallout 2 humor/wacky silliness
Here are the stretch goals: • $2.85M: 37 Pieces of Flair – We unlock further Ranger customization, which could include multiple body types, more heads, and more hairstyles. Plus we’ll show items that your Ranger has equipped (gear like shovels, binoculars, etc) on their models. • $3M: Car Companion (Codename: Morningstar) – We add a talking car companion! Morningstar is an AI built to serve President Reagan, but he'll help you both in your travels and during combat, plus he'll give you well-timed advice on how to wipe out all the dirty commies out there. See more on him below! • $3.1M: Customizable Ranger Squad Insignia – At the start of the game, you get to customize a Ranger Squad insignia for your team, which will show up on your Ranger Base as well as elsewhere in the game (on flags, for example). https://www.fig.co/campaigns/wasteland-3?update=190#updates Maybe this could be posted as a separate newspost on the site?
I really need to finish Wasteland 2. It was going well but then I got into the Witcher series and had to put it on hold, and now I'm in college and hardly have any free time what with essay papers out the wazoo with being an English major.
