Hi folks .

It's my first message on this forum. I've been reading it for a while but never registered before. I'm a 20 years french guy, fallout fan since Fallout 2 and also musician. I was creating music for MISLEADING LANDS, an UT2004 mod based on Fallout. It was originally called Fallout 3d....I left Coldfire interactive ( the team behind the mod ) 4 months ago and I'm planning to continue the kind of music I did with the team...

The two first were under the name "Geiger Project" . The third demo is something I did alone, under the name "Wasteland Chronicles"...I'm searching for another name though...

I'd like to know your opinions concerning these demos. Hope you'll enjoy them !!
 
I downloaded your track, Brumble, and I gotta say I like it... Would be nice in a Fallout mod or game, especially if the area is an irradiated hell hole, reminds me in a way of Resident Evil and Fallout 1 The Glow.

video2.mp3 is suitable for an omnious location like Necropolis. With mutated tribal ninja ghouls et alles capturing the player or something :look:

essai.mp3: Radiated hell. It even has Geiger counter, I approve!

Would you mind providing additional information for those pieces, so we might put them on our site?

Originally, Geiger Project was :

-Fry the 7th : production, guitar
-Me : production, guitar
-Cyd : spoken words
-Nicolas : flute, percussions

We started the recording of a LP album which unfortunately never was finished...The most of it rests on some dusty cd somewhere in a box, and the other part of it got erased from my computer by a stupid virus :evil: !!!!

The first link is the first demo recorded ever by the Geiger Project. It was just something we did to agree on what type of music we were going to do, but it sounded good so I kept it...

The second link is a tune recorded for the introducing video to Misleading Lands, a falloutish mod for UT2004, still in development. At that time we were part of Coldfire Interactive. We left the team in september I think because of "internal and communication problems". But quitting that team was not only the end of our collaboration with Coldfire Interactive but also the end of the band. We didn't talk to each other for a while in fact...But everything is alright now, they are just doing something else, but there's absolutely no tension between us ! :)

Last month, I decided to start a similar project, but under a different name. I chose "Wasteland Chronicles" ( but i'm trying to find another name, maybe less "cliché" ) because I would like to create a story, delivered by episodes, under the form of a "text + mp3 + illustration" , every two weeks or every month maybe, with the help of several people.
So, the last link is the first demo I did ( alone ) since the band's split and hopefully not the last !!!
