too bad the barrels are kinda fubar though. it's you're going to take pics from such an angle, at least you can try to fake a decent barrel (or use another type of container). :)
 
Yeah, barrels and pipes look squary ... buton the other hand there are nice lights and shadows ( that big fan shadow in the centre looks quite cool )

Now only work on the objects and we're ready.
So we need to work on the details - this shall take a few days. Water marks, decals, trash, wall objects, floors, etc. Silencer has not told you that our site is going to be back online next week

I agree it looks damned good... though I noticed the angles it didn't put me off as it seems to have done to a few.

If this is an in game shot this would lead me to believe the game has potential. Of course game-play is king.

Afterfall is real-time with pause or (please say me the magic words) ... turn-based?
 
It looks... so CS-like. It doesnt look Post-Aco to me. But it looks great, just like on HL2 engine.
 
Seriously this was real let'down.

I looks tbh. just like HL (no not HL2). And it's too clean, too square (the barrels) and HORRIBLE lighting. For the love of god fix the lighting (I hope the screen is photoshopped, if not that engine is crap D: ).

Such a difference from the outside shots, and some of your renders, what happend to the nice looking stuff?
 
st0lve: intoxicate said they're working on the objects. I think that includes edges and the cleanliness of the boxes.

The lighting is a little overpowering, but thats what most people seem too like... I don't dislike the lighting and I imagine it makes for a good in game atmostphere, but it could do with being toned down just a tad.

It does look rather half life-y, but I was a bit of a hlgimp back in the day, so I'm not too fussed by that... as long as they can get the gameplay right the visuals don't matter *so* much.. as long as their is nothing (like bad anti aliasing :P, or out of place over clean objects) which is out of context of the game to pull me out of it...

I'm excited by the game, but I'm not going to make any further judgements just yet.
