Were Vertibirds developed before the war?

I'd be willing to bet that the Enclave's Spy Bot thing could support me if I wanted to ride that bad-boy around.

I want that as DLC... Ridable Enclave Bots.
 
Two words: Giddyup Buttercup. I mean, mounts are already part of the Oblivion engine anyway, right? Why not utilize that asset to enhance the Fallout experience for the fanbase? :roll:

For most of my first playthrough, I lived in genuine fear of finding one of those damned horses and having to uninstall the game.
 
The art book includes a concept art of a giant molerat used as a mount. Possibly a DLC addition?
