what is the perfect system?

In another thread in this forum, Kharn indirectly posed the following the question.

What is the perfect system?

Being in an abstract mood, I decided to take his question, relating to goverment, entirely out of context. How does one go about finding the answer to such a vague question? Google, of course.

I typed it into the field, hit search, and heres what I came up with.

However, I realized that with results as varied as these, peolple are using the concept of a perfect system in different ways. So there must either be multiple meanings of the phrase or people don't know how to write. Where to find out what a perfect system means? Tthe Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary, located at www.m-w.com.

Typing "perfect system" didn't produce any results, so I had to split the phrase up. Unfortunately, the combination of the sub-entries for both words makes around 60 different possible meanings. Could be more or less, depending on how you interpret them.

Now I've got a problem. This was meant to be interesting and a waste of time, but not tedious. And checking each combination would be fairly boring. So I randomly picked a combination. Rolling a die to determine which entry I used from each root word, this is what I came up with.

perfect system - an organized or established procedure that is sexually mature and fully differentiated

Great. I've got a working definition. Maybe not the best in the world, but good enough for my purposes. Now to return to Google to find an example of the perfect system.

I type in our new definition of a perfect system and get...

Germs. What's so special about germs?

According to this amazing article, germs play an important role in the reproduction of the human race. There are different stages of germs in the established procedure and each is specalized, or differentiated, for a certain task. The germs develop over time and when sexually mature they are able to make possible that wonderful act of creation; makin little babies.

There you have it. A perfect system. Germs.

Also, if I understand your insanity correctly, you are referring to germline cells. Eggs and Sperm. It has nothing to do with germs, as is botulism.

Did you read the article? It might be a bit scientific and what not, but I think i've got the grasp of it.

Check it out. You talk about eggs and sperm as if they have nothing to do with germs. How did they get to be eggs and sperm in the first place?

Each generation of sexually-reproducing organisms is dependent upon the germ line of its predecessors for its existence. Likewise, the production of succeeding generations is dependent upon the current generation's germ line. Thus, the germ line is the link that ensures the very survival of these species

Oh, btw. To answer your first question, I was babbling about the perfect system.

That's some funny shit there, Geekpocket, using Google to look for the perfect system. I don't think you'll find it on the internet, though. I doubt you'll find it anywhere, actually, since I don't believe it exists. Meh. I looked for it and returned empty-handed.
