One of the reasons I have heard for favoring Console to PC games is that with consoles everyone knows what the hardware is, so they can make games that fit.

With PCs there is too much variation.

So what's under the hood of your computer? What does your PC use to run its games.

Current PC: Athlon 900Mhz, 256Mb RAM, GeForce 2 MX/MX400, 30Gb hard-disk, WinMe & WinXP, ADSL connection (1.2Mbits/s).

Previous PC (still used for older games): Pentium II 233MHz, 128Mb RAM, S3 Virge, 12Gb hard-disk, Win95 (old hard-disk with DOS & Win 3.11).

It has often been written that the main difference between PC and console is the type of games - Fallout anyone? -.
