What'S about the FMF Stuff?

It is a shame that this mod died but it will be more shame when the stuff will died, too.

so whats up with all the work???
 
didn't get MR get there hands on it?

in any case, I hope it isn't lost like what happend with Yurop and FanOut..
 
All their former FTP data are already wallowing on my HDD (thanks to Karel and some FMF leader who gives a fuck about, or maybe the last surviving FMF'er that didn't run away, who on earth knows).

Then I gravedigged a majority of their items, two mapfiles plus maybe some ambients... for BGE, obviously.

I must say those items were handier than ours on the average and the ambiens are equal. The rest was too messy or simply not good enough to dig it out.

If any clever head here knows who should be credited for those items, feel free to drop me a line. I mean there's not too many communicating FMF'ers. What an ashamed guys!

Also, I guess MR has really implemented that weird "City on the Coast" area (or rather re-built it as they wanted to). Quite a pragmatic move, I'd say.

what'S about to public stuff. MR and BGE not need? Of ourse if the former FMF Team has no problems with it. I think the community coul'd need the one or the other thing.
 
so all the FMF stuff has been salvaged. are there still a (really reeelly REAAAAAALLY ) small chance to collect the stuff made by FanOut or Yurop?

I have a hard time believing that all the members working on those mods don't visit NMA anymore (they where fans right). So for you lurkers out there, if you have some info or even better, own some of these mods don't hesitate to share :)

Yeah - all saved on the ftp / desktop etc...

can't see Yurop evergiving their stuff over or they'd have done it by now.

As I said, if MR is well recieved I shall be staying and looking for a new project to work on.

Like st. called 'BGE'? :smug:

Anyway, it won't be Yurop for sure, because...
- its leader won't show you anything (standard paranoid bitch syndrome)
- he's going to use the accomplished work in some other way... some other day... (like in year 3000)
- you wouldn't certainly pester with the project actually situated in the Central Europe

I think at least one BGE's dialogue is more or less extracted from Yurop. But not intendly - I just hired their most active writer in 2006. I also saw some of their texts thanks to him - some of them were even "mythological" I think. I liked it - looked deep and so.

Moreover, Lexx already did some screen-autopsy (the crashed ship), right? :lol:
