The dude who was the spirit, soul, anima and essence of NMA for the past many years hasn't been seen in nearly a year?
Does anyone know anything about @The Vault Dweller? Is he walking the wastes still, warning people not to drink water, or has he died from fungi poisoning?

Nah, they're different people. I don't know if that VD was part of NMA - he probably has/had an account here, but is definitely not a regular. I think he posts on Kodex exclusively.
This is a completely different person. Our TVD was basically the nicest guy ever, if a bit...wacky I guess, in his own way, though he probably wouldn't agree (or appreciate) such a description. Well, maybe he would.

He made a shitton of good threads and contributed to the forum in the past, but seems to be gone. One of the Great Old Ones. Most of them are gone. Some Orderites remain, but that's it for the most part...

Huh. From the looks of it, I got an impression they might be the same person (ITS's VD joined the Codex in 2003, NMA's VD joined in 2004). Makes me want to see a trial by combat between the two people for the name 'Vault Dweller'

As I recall, he got a lot of shit for not being as scathing as his Oblivion review and started the whole "good for what it is™" meme on the Codex.
