Ok, imagine that you are in a post-apocalypse city. The buildings are in ruin, litter and debris is everywhere, fires burn out of control, cars and trucks are scattered and destroyed, a few people are fighting to survive, the police are nonexistent and anarchy rules, raiders and mutants are causing mayhem, dogs and cats are living together, etc.

You have to battle for your very survival.

You are stuck in this city, and aware, as night falls, that man eating mutant monsters are going to take to the street to feed.

Who would you rather have on your side-

Snake Pliskin

dude, that's a very tough one, but also a trick question, you forget that people that get close to Max ineviteably die

So it's Snake

And shouldn't this be on General Fallout?

Neither. Hanging out with one of these wussies would ruin my toughass street rep.

;)

In a city means you have to go with Snake. He's better within the urban environment.

If it were desert waste, then Mr. Rockatansky for the same reason.

I would have to go with Max, why? Because surfing in the Los Angeles river just totally ruined everything for me...

Mohrg

Snake. Max is the shit in an open environment and all, but you said the setting was City.. So definately snake.

Mad Max has all sorts of moral conundrums, making him difficult. So assuming Snake cannot sell me out I go with Snake anyday.

Even with that stupid-ass river scene in LA.

Snake Plissken is the most badass character ever created, but he mostly would just watch my back as I bitch-slapped those mutant monsters and made them do oral favors on each other.

Because I live in Australia, it has to be Max.

Also assuming he is going to stick around he will be useful in that he is also suited to the non-urban invironment. If you are in a dangerous city which likely has no food and plenty of hungry critters
it is time to leave. Also Rambo types aren't as useful when it's not raining assault rifles and the like calling for the more resourceful kind of guy.

I think Snake would be able to adjust to his surroundings. Did alright in both escape from New York and LA.

I would prefer having Max on my side, mostly because of Snake's lack of dept perception.
