Why am I attacked by Junkyard guards?

First time out of the vault
There's a woman ganger (NOT Skullz one) in the "hotel" standing there alone who attacks me immediately upon noticing me. If I kill her, the Junkyard guards (Killian's guys) become hostile towards me as well (can't even talk to Killian anymore). How come? That's self defense! Is this a bug or did I miss something?

Btw, there were a few Skullz guys who attacked me as well, but the Junkyard guards didn't seem to mind me killing them (and I even got the Champion karma "badge" for that :D). So what's the deal with that odd female ganger?

Btw, the game is great.
 
Is she the girl you can talk to and reason with concerning The Skullz? Did you talk to her earlier and did you piss her off?

I remember a similar "accident", but I doubt it's a bug. I think you can genuinely make her aggressive just by pissing her off or something. I might be completely off, though, it's been a long time since I played the game.
 
I don't know anything about her. She doesn't even have a name. I cannot talk to her since she attacks me immediately. She's blocking my way in the "hotel", that is, I cannot get to some rooms without her noticing me. I do think it's a bug that Junkyard guards treat self defense as offense.
