Why does Bethesda continue to snub New Vegas?

Nah it adds to the lore.

You've got:
easy cop outs for immortality
alien DLC potential
anti-aging serum to add pre-war celebrities
telekinesis

And pristine Pre-War buildings and furniture (yeah it's a nitpick in comparison but it still counts).

Why do they ignore it? That's easy. They know it's better than anything they've put out.

You'd ignore someone that does better than you at everything too, wouldn't you?

*adds everyone but Kadscaner to the Ignore list*

Sequels don't have to constantly mention previous titles to legitimize their existence.
I think it'd be pretty strange if the people of the commonwealth discussed the ongoings of a state all the way across the country.

Bethesda didn't have to reference New Vegas in Fallout 4, but they did it anyways, and to me that's enough to say that Bethesda isn't upset about NV being better than Fo3.
At the end of one of the quests in Fo4 there's mention of an alien city below the Mojave, so it's possible that in a future game we'll see the mojave post-courier 6.

Fallout.

Alien city.

Funnily enough I'd rather they hadn't mentioned New Vegas at all.
