Why does every trader use Brahmin?

Perhaps they no longer need males? Or perhaps males are rare and kept away for security?
 
If we can trust the Fallout Wikia there is male and female Brahmin:

Brahmin are the mutated descendants of pre-War cattle. The cows that survived have given birth to mutated offspring. They've attained a second head, and abnormal growths. They also have eight stomach compartments and two hearts, twice as many as normal cows. Brahmin bulls have four testicles, and the udders of female brahmin have increased in size.

I got that feeling too, that is why I said "if we can trust the wikia" (which I always take with a grain of salt).

I do seem to remember someone in the past somewhere mentioning that the heads could actually be female or male depending on if they have horns or not, but I am pretty sure that was also just a fanon or opinion of a player/fan and not a real canon thing.
 
Apparently most of that quoted text is actually from the Fallout Bible. Except for the stuff about the oversized udders and quad bollocks, which I guess someone just added in for kicks. :scratch:
 
i feel this is an important omission.
brahmin is such an important animal for the pa world,they should at least put bulls and calves. we got puppy big horners and not a single two headed calf!
 
Male brahmins or rather brahmin balls were present in Fallout 2, in Modoc you could had taken part in eating contest. Yes add 1+1 to guess which dish were you eating.
 
The real question for me is what do the legion guys think that thing on their flag is?

A rare mutant 2 balled brahmin bull?

I’ve replayed this game over a dozen times and I’ve never found this. I want to dismiss this post as a joke, but it still sounds consistent with all of the goofy shit that they shouldn’t have put in.
