What that you say? Is Barry selling out? How can this be!?!?!? Fear not my friends, for I am about to amaze and enlighten you all with my rapacious wit and charm, err...I mean, well, just read on... :)

Anyway, I finally went to the Fallout Tactics page and read about the details. I am downloading the demo even as I type this message. As soon as I saw it, I said, "Great! Wonderful." Why is that, you might ask? Well, how many of these fourteen year old kids keep coming to the Fallout web boards (doesn't matter which ones) and say something like this:

"U guyz shud produkt Fallout 3 with tanks n mor bombs u shud b able 2 run over peepz with ur car n stuff n u shud also make it multiplayer so i can kill my little bro bekus he thinks hez so kewl but i no i am a kewler dood then he is..." continuing with any other inane stupidity.

Now, with Fallout Tactics, all those immature kids who want to play turn-based Doom can have their game and they can quit whining on the Fallout boards about what they want in a game. Fallout Tactics has all of the immature aspects that have been requested in Fallout 2 and any other sequels. That is why I think Fallout Tactics is a good thing. I mean, who cares if that other company screws it up? It's not Fallout, and now BiS can put all of their attention on getting a *real* Fallout 3 started without being hassled with requests to make it a turn-based strategy game. Persunully, I think its kewl!

NO! FOT: BOS is simply market testing for FO3: OnLine. Refer to my post on "Homemade Rosh games..."
