Why Mass Effect: Andromeda failed

Then they are like the Borg. They assimilate gaming studios and turn them into shit.
They don't assimilate them, they actually destroy them. Most studios close and people have to get jobs in other places.
Bethesda doesn't keep anyone from those studios, usually. They do it to get IPs and end competition, not workers.

WOW, that's even worse. They are one of the greatest evils in this world then if you are a passionate gamer.

Most big publishers do it though...

Why? What they are doing is not productive though because if they take over IPs, keep the original devs and then pump out more and more good games, they will make more and more money. It's like these big publishers don't really give a fuck about money and just want to destroy gaming. These publishers aren't even evil greedy capitalists, they are worse. They literally are trying to destroy gaming.

Dude, more productive? They're already raking enough cash in to gold plate their mansions and snort cocaine off 10 star hookers for life.

They don't care about games as a form of art, as a form of well written and developed fiction.

They just want cash, and shitting on IP's is easier.

I called that "golden goose syndrome".

They practically gutted the golden goose by unrealistic schedule, too many sequels too fast, or practically lay-off the original team to make some quick money.
