Cool. Orbitting apple pie!MCA said:[There are seven worlds], although each world contains a number of sub-locations that aren’t necessarily the world itself, if that makes any sense. If it doesn’t make sense, well, imagine if you will a common apple pie. Cut the pie into slices. Put one piece of pie on a plate, then watch the plate take off and orbit the table. Is it still all one pie?

Ratty said:It seems MCA is bent on turning KoTOR 2 into a good RPG. We may be looking at another masterpiece like Planescape Torment. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Obsidian, because if this game turns out to be good, the whole world will know that former BIS developers are the greatest masters of the RPG genre. It's about time somebody showed those inept slackers from BioWare how role playing games are made.
They have proven themselves? Hmmm, how strange that I haven't noticed. Gothic and Gothic 2 are both rewarding RPG's, but a joke from technical aspect and nearly unplayable due to terrible controls. When pooled against Gothic, even BioWare's Aurora mess is a technical masterpiece. As for Troika, I'll just say that when a game is "similar to Fallout", that doesn't mean it's good by default. All Troika have proven so far is that Atari is a shitty publisher.Kotario said:No account given to Troika or Piranha Bytes? Well, MCA stated that his company was working on another project. Knowing Avellone, it's probably something grander and more sophisticated than KoTOR 2.I'm not sure. It's possible MCA could be using the platform that they have with KOTOR2 (given the success of the first one) to make what would be a niche RPG available to a lot of people (eg. writing another planescape), but I'm not so sure. We'll see.

I'm still waiting on Piranha Bytes to prove itself.
