I'm Wisconsionian myself. I live up by Lake Superior somewhere between the Superior-Hayward-Ironwood triangle area. Beautiful woods up here, and our winters are a hell of a lot harsher than the southern half, and our summers humider as well.

There are surely thousands of people to talk to, on things such as MSN and Live Journal.
Some girls do like games (other than the Sims which too many like) but there are nowhere near as many combatitive female as there are male gamers. The numbers won't change as long as men have more testosterone, although dramatic social change or female beards becoming fashionable may impact on this.
