Would you guys like an anarchy ending?

Basicly the independant ending but instead no one being in charge. Basicly letting the gangs of Freeside take over.

What do you think?

Isn't that the ending where you destroy the Securitrons?

Even if you destroy the bunker, you can't destroy Yes Man. In fact he even says it wasn't the best decision but admires your bravery, or something like that.

Not to be funny, but if the gangs (the Kings) of Freeside take over, then I'd say it wouldn't be an anarchy seeing as they have a leader and some semblance of organization.

That said, if there was an ending where Vegas ended up fighting itself without the strong leadership of House/Courier, yeah why not? Having the Vegas tribes, Kings and who ever else fighting over Vegas would be an interesting ending.

Kinda? If you could offer these communities and factions that oppurtunity to voluntarily ally together into some kind of collective, aided by your securitrons and what not, then sure. Anarchy is sort of vague on what it's supposed to be, sort of like communism if you get right down to it. They're both one of those 'get rid of everything that maintains peace, order, and public accountability and somehow it will all work out, because people will just be rational paragons if given the chance' things.

Anarchy is a Utopian political ideal related to end-Communism, so this would be a 'lawless' or 'chaotic' ending.

Yes Man should eventually die; I always liked games where there are X amount of Y type, like Underrail. Eventually, there won't BE anymore Securitrons, and a chaotic ending could have a quest line where you're attacking these staches of high technology House put aside.

It's better than Avellone's 'nuke everything again' ending yet still comes to the same conclusion of no gods, no masters - NCR and Legion are repulsed, maybe even broken, House is dead, the communities of the Mojave - especially with access to the river - can form their own local government in time, if you foster them to do so (there should had been some sort of settlement by the river; but I guess westside and the piped water works).

Or, you just kill everything and the Mojave ends up as a wasteland of corpses and burnt out towns.

I think there are no settlements by the river due to the on-going NCR-Legion conflict, but yeah some should begin to bloom after the conclusion of New Vegas.

Can we get a kill all the things ending?

The best approach to an anarchy ending would simply be for the courier to disable each faction in such a way that they can no longer make progress, then just leave. Even in anarchy there is status quo.

Independence ends up becoming something like New Reno surrounded by The Wild West.

"Imagine New Vegas if there was no Mr. House - type fella keeping the peace, then give everybody a gun and a Jet addiction. Town's run by a bunch of crime families, no law to speak of. Make trouble, and you wind up buried in Golgotha, outside town. The scuzz factor's off the charts. Non-stop whoring and drugs. Couldn't walk down the street without getting asked to star in a porn movie."

I would had liked a settlement beyond Bitter Springs, maybe, a sort of hub between tribals, NCR, and locals; round Moapa way on the river, puttin some stock into 1) ranger post bravo and 2) how full Bitter Springs is, despite being cut off from vegas by death claws and cazadors.

I think it'd open many avenues of roleplay that F:NV has lacked. Basically, the Raider/Evil side could be made into something interesting, with the Powder Gangers made into a non-pathetic faction, the Khans, the Raider gangs. An alternative to chaos/anarchy could be a truly independent Vegas, without the NCR, the Legion, House or Yes Man. Imagine all the possibilities with regards to morality.
