Hm, that's interesting. So we apparently have two extremely effective anti-radiation drugs in the works; one using some sort of protein produced by bacteria that live in our gastrointestinal tract, and another using carbon nano-tubes and food preservatives.
More interesting, I think, than their ability to protect people from radiation produced by bombs or nuclear accidents is their possible use in medicine for cancer patients. Radiation treatment that can be more effective and have less severe side effects? Yes please.
