You guys don't like Fallout!

All you guys call yourselves Fallout fans! Get a life! Half of you sound like Star Trek geeks (where'd they get the new power armor? huh?) and the rest sound like little babies! (TB mode isnb't the same) Listen. Fallout is awesome. I would buy a fallout football game if they chose to make one. I would buy Fallout tactics if the game box was filled with broken glass and rusty nails. Imagine my delight when I saw that far from being crappy, the newest fallout is f***in awesome! Does anyone remember Final Fantasy Tactics? Similar phenomenon going on here. Just tryin to broaden fan support for the series, so dry your tears little girls. Fallout 3 will be a snazzier version of everything you loved about the first two , and in the meanwhile we get to play this awesome game. Really, what is wrong with this game? Nothing. None of these complaints are valid. This is the stablest alpha i've ever seen, so don't say it's buggy. The continous turn system is vital to a fast moving, fun multiplayer experience; and that is what this game is, at heart. As a sop to you crybabies they will include the traditional TB system, and I'm sure that it will be implemented just as you remember it, as the system is largely still inplace in CTB mode. Overall, the programmers have done the damn near impossible in changing a game's genre without changing the feel and themes that make Fallout so cool. If you really like Fallout, get with it. If you don't, go buy Deer Hunter and get the heck off this message board.

[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Dec-26-00 AT 07:45AM (GMT)[p]Dude, I totaly agree, I downloaded the demo, and it is sweet, thing wrong with it, had no problems with installtion/setup etc, its still alpha, but hot damn its sweet....but onto my main point...I just had to reply to your post finnaly some ppl with some sense, when I read that post about Fallout playing like Baldurs Gate is made me really confused (the post titled "this demo is queer" isnt he clever), confused as how someone couple put such a stupid comment, if anything it plays more like an X-Com litle... :-( ...and of course the other group of bitches without their own oppinons joined in in picking at the alpha version *sigh*...saying stupid stuff like "this game sucks because: the cursor is slightly differnt form FO2, the GFX are too good looking for me, I want crappy 256 colors, thats what makes a game look "grity" and "dirty"..anyways I just signed up today jsut so i can rant...and share my oppinon, the funny thing about this is that the ppl who bitched about this game sucking are now not gonna say shit cuz someone challenged their view points, and if they do, they'l just copy n' paste the other idoit comments... :)

Totally agree, the demo was fun and show what will be in the game. Colourful armours are a used to differenate two squads when playing multiplayer. The graphics are cool and if u want a 'dirty' look then reviewers will say it is outdated. It is hard to win both groups of ppl but I will be playing FOT when it is out.

Sure, as long as it has the name of Fallout, you'll accept any old thing. Gotta love that mentality! :-)

And I suggest you refrain from the blanket-flames from now on.
 
I got a fallout2 sticker from David Hendee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

Actually, I got 2 stickers in one envelope but I gave one sticker to my pal cuz he plays fallout, I've gotten atleast 5 people in my school addicted to Fallout1&2 and they're probably gonna buy Tactics and like that too.

Final version of tactics will be 100x larger and it will include all sorts of elements that were in FO1 and FO2 like World Map, Random Encounters, Bartering and all sorts of cool shit.

Just hope it comes out after I get my Duron...

It's nice to see there are some actual fans on this board. I'll see you guys in multiplayer in a few months. As for the rest of you, why don't you go grab a copy of Barbie Fashion Designer, you might find it more suited to your mental capabilities. I'm not sure what some of the idiots who post things like "BOS is Gay" liked about Fallout in the first place, but I'm assuming it had something to do with pretty colors and/or shapes.

I wonder if it is indeed you, yourself, that do not know what Fallout is. I've been playing the Fallout series since 1984. Yes, you read that right. If that confuses you, then you don't know the basis or reasons for Fallout, nor it's origins. I do.

I'm just waiting for Klayhamn's reply to this one, considering the festively colored leather armor featured in FOT:BOS that he hates so much. :)

Maybe Fallout Fashion Designer is in the works as a possible spin off.

I dunno, Rosh. It certainly doesn't make much of a case for them when all they can say are things like, "Your stupid." or "Your no fan of Fallout."

And yes, I know it should be, "You're stupid" and "You're no fan of Fallout".

I think the fact that the loyal opposition to Fallout can cite the reasons it's an injustice to the name, "Fallout" is a credit to our side while all they can do is name call.

It's also a shame there weren't more Ranger missions in Fallout 2. I'd have loved to have freed the slaves in Vault City without having all of Vault City trying to kill me.

If I buy the game, I'm damned sure not playing it in that unbalanced Real Time mode.

Actually my name is William but I like it short for willie. But I dun know about u good looking than William and me. So Will, dun tell me u good-looking than me or William. Is it confusing for ppl to read this msg?

Since the game comes in two modes, RT and TB, I'm sure ppl will play the game, if u dislike RT then go for TB.
