Your favorite Fallout moment from F3

My favourite moment was watching Liberty Prime. Everything else I sort of slogged through, really, blowing multiple targets up was meh-inducing, was sort of amusing to see Raiders blow up a ruined car with nuclear force and kill themselves.

There's a spoiler tag at the start of the thread.

The conversation with Eden struck me as a diluted, dumbed down clone of the Master conversation.

Taking out raiders with the radio songs playing felt slightly Fallouty... for the first hour or two.

I wasn't complaining about the spoiler. A month ago when everyone was watching people with hacked xboxes play it for the first time on live streams, someone said "I bet the president is a computer lol" and someone else said that that was impossible because that was BioWare's signature plot twist and this was a bethsoft game.

Returning it to Best Buy. The customer service rep accidentally charged it back to my CC instead of issuing store credit. That was a great moment.

Lame man, we cant even have one positive thread. This is trolling.

On another note...

The alien spacecraft was cool too. Near minfield, you get a radio signal thats like a sketchy morse-code and you can find a crashed ship... I was pretty excited.

Nothing specific, but...

Found a supermutant with a minigun in the middle of the wastelands next to a truck.

I fired at the gun itself with my laser rifle, breaking it. The mutant charged, and I switched to the scoped Magnum for better close-range firepower (yay for "Gunslinger" perk!)

The mutant whips out a frag grenade and pulls the pin. I quickly hit VATS and fire twice at his arm, crippling it.

The mutant staggers, the grenade drops and blows up at his feet, killing him!

Felt like a million dollars really...

HAHA did something similar last night at the national camp ground. Raider was fighting a SM and I shot one of her buddies, she turns to nade me. I quickly vatted it up busted her arm and the nade blew her and 3 raiders to hell and back it was great!

Gotcha. Just...thought it was a bit negative. Sorry Pope!

I'm glad. It's not a situation where I want to be right.

Now, to get back on topic, I really enjoyed the ending of the game. I sacrificed myself. It was neat to realize that the game began with me opening my eyes for the first time, and ended with me closing them for the last time.

I wish the ending/Ron Perlman narration had more to do with the towns that I visited, but it was still a nice closing.

[spoiler:887ed9ffb5]1) The grocery store with arrows on the floor, the trap that triggers the domino effect boxes on the grocery shelves, which basically sets off a bunch of baseball throwing machines, then launches a crap load of live grenades at you in a small space... that so fucked me up, I survived and got some good ammo... but that rube goldberg thing was wonderful

2) the reprogrammed mister gutsy at the underworld.... his dialouge was funny :)

3) the behemoth in front of GNR.... to me, a neat moment was "um, i'm not ready to fight this, but i want in" - so, one stealth boy later, i'm in :)

4) Also, i think all the "civilized ghouls" are kinda cool in this game - of course, none will ever be as cool as Set... Charon is cool, but in a different way[/spoiler:887ed9ffb5]

I have to be honest when I say that not too many moments struck me as very Fallout, but I did get a Fallout 2 kind of feeling when I met the malfunctioning robot in the National Archives strongroom.

The best moment in the game was when you exit the Vault after that i explored 70% of the world locations and i already forgot everything, thats how memorable the game is..

Funny! thanks for the input mark...

I thought the narration at the end was kinda just... alright too chaos. Always nice to hear the Pearlman though, lol. Interesting with the eyes open/eyes close thing. Hmmm...

My favorite moment?

Seeing Lucas whacked, then me whacking Burke, taking their unique clothing items (hat, shades, duster).

Getting the t51-b power armor.

My character is a bad looking mofo.

In the bow section of River City. Entering a room, hearing "click". Thinking to myself ... it can't be ... then, BOOM!!!!

damn.

Lol, I did the same thing my first playthrough with those two guys. And then the little kid finds you when you walk out and doesnt really seem sad...at all... that is father was shot down in cold blood.

Where'd you find the armor?!
