I'm very much a Wessi.
Spent the last 27 years of my life either at the Niederrhein (far west) or Aachen (doesn't get any further west without marching into the Netherlands and Belgium again).
Granted, now I'm surprisingly far to the east (Erlangen), but it's still more "mid" than "east".
 
Wow, there are more Ostdeutscher than I knew. Two who actually claim or admit it and one that wont.

This is easily decided. Have any of you been born before 1991? Which flag were you born under? BDR or DDR?
