Are there any FO5 references in FO4?

In Fallout 3 they pretty much directly reference Fallout 4 and built an entire quest around it, the Replicated Man. Are there any hints anywhere on where the next Beth Fallout is going to be set? The only example I can think of is the notorious Cabot House quest but I doubt they'd actually do that. I had absolutely no interest in Far Harbor but I'm wondering if they'll hint at where their next game is going to be set in Nuka World since it's their last DLC.

Hope there won't be a next game at all. ESPECIALLY BASED ON FALLOUT 4's CORE!

Sadly, I feel like it's probably better to kill off Fallout, before it's remembered how crappy it all went down, and not how well it began.

Also some BoS members, I heard, mentioned something about NYC.

I would say hey let's go to ronto but Beth would prolly fuck it up.

Well idk, considering there's a Trump on the Zenimax board of directors: a Fallout where an astonishingly well-preserved Rob Ford turns out to be your dad probably isn't entirely outside the realm of possibilities. Well worth another 7-year wait, I'd say; so I'll stick around.

Maybe they'll start doing annual releases like ass creed.

And then this website will become like Necropolis. We won't accept any normy/normie [which ever] that plays the [hopefully not] annual releases. We will have to accept those that'v played the Classics/What ever Obisidan makes.

Or just blow them away with logic.

Either way, hope this doesn't happen.

On the upside though this place would be p. lively and there would be more funny memes to go around.

Well, there's... Huh...
I can't think of any foreshadowing for future Beth Failout games except for Cabot's throwaway line to the Mojave (if they touch New Vegas, there's going to be a shitstorm from here and the mainstream, since there's already a huge consensus that New Vegas was brilliant despite what the Bethesdrones would have you believing).

:rip: Fallout franchise when that does happen. The final nail in the coffin that Bethesda has been nailing in Fallout's coffin since FO3's missteps and FO4's everything.
Also in that situation, NMA may be featured in another gaming news article but as the last bastion of quality in Fallout with all the hypothetical vitriol to spew at annual release Failout.

Maybe NMA and /r/fallout will be in the same boat, and suffer together, and become good friends. sums up me 8th grade

This is a community of good guys. There are good guys over there as well. We can't agree on shit.

Bethesda is far too small and insular as a dev to be putting out annual releases. They'd have to hire dozens of new employees, some of whom would be in supervisory, big-decision-making roles. Which wouldn't be all that bad of a thing, come to think of it.

This assumes Bethesda planned ahead or is even capable of doing so. Its far more likely that fo4 is a giant reference to a small quest in fo3. Not the other way around.
Actually, you might be on to something there. It makes a lot of sense in a weird way that I can't even explain properly. The whole Synth thing just felt forced. It's like, "Well we hinted at this in Fallout 3 so I guess we have to make a plot about this stupid shit."

Co'mon, we all know deep down it's the Cabot quest.

Fo 5 is going to be about disturbing the cursed mummy of your great great great great granddad , who also happens to sound like Liam Neeson and is a scientist in all of the things. Those Ancient Zetans and their Cuthulu god can't be fought off with bullets alone afterall!

Well, it wasn't in Fallout 4 but I remember the speech Asher (I think it was Asher?) did in The Pitt mentioned both The Commonwealth and Ronto (presumably, Toronto), so Canadian Fallout maybe?

Yes, he did. I can confirm. I always love hearing about towns we never see.
