In /r/Fallout, you cannot praise New Vegas without being mutilated and downvoted.

NMA has a history of hating Fallout 3/4 (with good reasons), and we get shit for it. Calling us for 'fanboys' and so on. Does anyone sense hypocrisy?

You wanna know what the difference is?

Giving us shit for hating Fallout 4 is absolutely hilarious. The game costs 60$ so telling us 'not to play it' is an absolute joke, you cannot get paid back if you play a long enough time to actually review the game. The game did not continue on any of the previous Fallouts, and the lastest was New Vegas, which is why we compare the two.

But, giving us shit for praising New Vegas in a SUBREDDIT about FALLOUT and how FALLOUT HAS CHANGED, IS NOW NOT OKAY, BECAUSE NEW VEGAS HAS TAKEN OVER THE SUBREDDIT.

You cannot say what's bad about Fallout 4 in there either. Do that, and you will be downvoted 'for reposting', i'm sorry, so... we can only talk nice about Fallout 4. Let's do that.

Okay.. begin. Good things about Fallout 4. The combat system is better... but the guns are limite.... I MEAN PERFECT. THE GUNS ARE PERFECT. THE WORLD IS COOL, AND THERE A C00L THINGS TO EXPL0RE.

There is mulitple choices, but they are only an illusion of choi... I MEAN WE GET DIFFERENT WAYS TO FINISH THE GAME WHICH IS AMAZING BECAUSE THE END MAKES ME THINK ABOUT THE TIME I WENT TO SHADY SANDS AND BROUGHT A ROPE TO CRAWL DOWN SOMETHING, WHEN I REALLY SHOULD'VE USED IT TO HANG MYSELF.

Anyway, away from the mentally insane, I wanted to know your opinions. Is this understandable? Should we just forget about Fallout 4, a game which was a success related to money, and just focus on the positive and lies?

Yeah the Fallout reddit is pretty fanboyish and hypocritical at times.

Good thing I left that place, it's just full of people who are kinda misguided on what made Fallout, well Fallout.

OP said the combat system is better. False the combat may feel and flow better But iS much more unintuitive than the one found in NV. The damage calculation system has been buttfucked impressively. Armor reverted back to DT. And don't even get me started on that "enemy has mutated" bullshit.

When you put the combat down to its most basic aspects, it's going to seen as an improvement.
The average Fallout gamer isn't going to know what DT is (even I get confused with it) they would just see that F4's gunplay flows better than New Vegas.

Bit yeah, that 'enemy has mutated' bs pretty much killed the game for me.
It's when they did it for something stupid like a robot, which is both scientifically impossible and insanely stupid in terms kg game mechanics.

A little more, every day, I am thinking that the end-of-all-internet wouldn't be so bad

Reddit isn't good. At all.

Every subreddit is a meaningless circlejerk. You have to be subscribed to most subreddits to downvote on them, and if you're negative about the subreddit's subject then why subscribe? This leads to the only people on subs like r/Fallout being narrow minded fanboys unwilling to take any criticism because they're in a safe space where they can discuss their c00l game/movie/book/politician etc.

I can name a few good subreddits that I go on every now and again, but even they have their anti-Trump/anti-Hillary spam which is fucking tiring at this point.

I forgot my biggest problem- censorship of conservative/right-wing subreddits whilst subreddits dedicated to pedophilia and fantasies about children were active (the biggest one was thankfully taken down about a month ago when an article on Reddit and its stance on 'pedo acceptance' was published).

Yeeeees we get it, /r/Fallout is terrible. What's with the newfound love for cross-site whining these days?
Yeeeees we get it, Fallout 4 sucks.

Doesn't make it any less true, and you kinda prove my point.
I'm not here to start a discussion, but that's exactly the stuff i'm talking about. When something is going the wrong direction, you kinda have to stop it before it's too late, no matter how circlejerky it must seem.

True.

Though, I have my own customized front page, with everything that's interesting, from news to memes. It's a nice place to have everything in one place, and, yes, /r/all is a Donald-sucking circlejerky porn-infested place, that no one should visit. But it's the best place for many things on the internet.

hahahaha xD

No but seriously there is a war between "the_Donald" and "r/politics" whilst one praises him as 'God Emperor' the other blatantly calls him a fascist and claims that America is 'literally doomed'. There's extremes on both sides, especially considering the leaks concerning down vote bots being used against T_D posts because of the CTRL left admins.

Please clarify, I'm very confused. Because it sounds like you're saying you didn't start this thread for a discussion but for a circle-jerk and it seems like you think circle-jerks are bad, but then again the phrasing of "have to stop it before it's too late, no matter how circlejerky it must seem" makes it sound like circlejerky is a good thing.
Also, what point was proven exactly?

meanwhile in r/witcher, we got cosplay and appreciation thread every hour...

If I were a dictator, I would immediately go after the cosplayers

People have told me "hey now, there are a few good cosplayers out there! Every rare now and then! when the Moon aligns with Saturn and beams through Jupiter"

Then I must spread the word of Fallout New Vegas.

A bit like religion really.

The problem with /r/Fallout, is that most of the users can't distinguish the difference between a Circlejerk, and multiple people expressing there opinion.

Like, they see lots of FO4 hating posts, and FONV praising posts and assume that it's an ongoing circlejerk without realising that it's actually multiple people simply expressing there opinion on the franchise.
