Best Unofficial Patch

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I've already downloaded the updated unofficial fallout 3 patch. Now I want to patch New Vegas so that it gets rid of as many remaining bugs as possible

Also, I got the new fallout games off of Gog, so I found out from online research that certain script fixes only work for the steam version of the game. This includes the reload speed fix to run with YUP. Considering this, which unofficial patch for New Vegas should I use? Which is the best there is out there?

Yup, without a doubt.

Mission Mojave is a big fanfic. They change the look of some chars, Francine Garret for example, change perks like chemist and even change some things in the game. For example, the code machine for the 357 ammo in dead money is locked in a room in the police station. They put outside the room.

About the reload speed, its really annoying (i like to play with revolvers).

YUP because it's still being maintained, and because it's just fixes it is the most compatible.

I haven't really given Mission Mojave a try, but i've seen the preview images and it's definitely high-quality, but if you don't intend to use just the most popular mods YUP is the way to go.

Yukichigai also recommends New Vegas Character Expansion if you want just fixes to the vanilla NPC faces unlike New Vegas Redesigned.

yes but what about all those other downloads you use with Yup that require you to have Steam. Remember, I now have the game on Gog now. I don't suppose they wouldn't work with Gog Galaxy?

I can't understand why any mod would need Steam to function. NVSE works fine, Large Address Aware is already enabled. Last time i checked the script for the reload speed fix worked with my GOG version with YUP.

FNV GOG version is the same as Steam version but without the steam "wrapping". We checked the gog versions to see if we needed to change anything for the TTW installer but it is really the same (so no change is needed).
As long as you install NVSE properly in your gog FNV directory it should work without a problem. I don't know of any mod for FNV that requires Steam.

It's probably pointless but can the steam loader dll be ignored/deleted when using the gog versions?

I'm a bit confused, I just woke up and my brain is really slow when I wake up. But the GOG versions of the games do not have any steam dll.

It's okay. My reply would've made more sense if you had seen it earlier.

I mean, when installing NVSE, one of the dlls you usually install with the steam version is the nvse_steam_loader.dll (i think it's called) Can it be ignored from the install or deleted if present in the New Vegas directory with the GOG version?
