Mines was the melting Centaur animation you got when you hit those suckers with plasma. I always loved how they melted revealing their mishappen skeletons.

Yes, the way plasma guns melt the flesh from your bones looks really cool, definitely a hell of a lot cooler than just turning into a green blob of goo.

Fallout 1/2 could get away with the plasma death because it was isometric I guess

First time out of the vault
Liuetenant one made me lose my shit. The Master's dialogue genuinely made me tear up then I go shoot the Liuetenant in the eye with my bb gun and witness the funniest most elaborate death i've ever seen. Ended the game laughing was very cool.
