The single player is the most average trite one can imagine for an FPS. As a narrative, it’s alright. Some of the characters are pretty forgettable, but they did try building on the characters in the story.

For MP? Ehh, you couldn’t gauge that shit if you were a calibration deity with a 20-leaf clover. I liked it, but the reception for multiplayer is hugely mixed. Weapon balancing is very iffy, and a few of the maps are absolute trash (USS Texas is a good example). I like the War mode, though.

He sort of does combination lore videos and walkthroughs. I actually do watch a lot of his stuff, but he's _very_ hit and miss. A good majority of videos just plain suck, but he does occasionally put out decent content.

One of my best saves ever - my "dragon-chasing" kind of save, was an old Civ3 save, where I started out as America, on a real world map, and managed to conquer the whole Americas, parts of Europe, and northern Africa. From there on, it became a nightmare of exponentiality, perpetual frontier war, and no gains for either party (very 1984-esque), played that shit for weeks!

I did the same with Civ 5. My OCD takes over far too often though.

I restart civ-games very quickly, I get bored fast, which is why I miss that one save, cus I really put a lot of effort and emotional investment in it :D
